HEAD COACH Mark Miller
Coach Mark Miller brings more than 25 years of experience of coaching high school athletics in the state of Georgia. Over half of those years have been spent as the head football and/or head baseball coaching capacity at the varsity high school level. Coach Miller has served as Head Coach atWoodward Academy, Strong Rock Christian School, Our Lady of Mercy, Landmark Christian and Locust Grove High School. Football and baseball respectively.
Coach Miller is extremely excited to be at Lake Oconee Academy as the new Head Baseball Coach as well as the Defensive Coordinator in the football program.
Coach Miller’s philosophy for winning in high school calls for a commitment to hard work, coaching to develop players from the younger ages forward, relationship building and a desire to pursue greatness.
Mark is a native of East Point, Ga. He graduated from Woodward Academy and attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, before graduating from Excelsior College in Albany, New York. He has been married to his wife, Leigh Ann, for 30 years. They have four children, Peyton, Bailey, Sydney and Cole, as well as three grandchildren, Cash, June and Knox.
